Appendix III: Not Quite Matches
Weave maps typically contain a large number of stripes that show how the thread density varies across the canvas. When looking at many different pairs using the Align program, it often occurs that small portions appear to line up, only to have other parts of the same weave maps to be poorly aligned. The various files in this appendix show a number of weaves that almost (but don't quite) form weave matches.
